This is a 6 month guided personal and professional development programme, where you can learn, heal and grow via the medium of Integrative Sandplay Therapy.
The registrations for the autumn 2025 intake of Sand Therapy Journeys programme are opening in July you can sign up for the waitlist here.

Who is this for?
The 6 month Sand Therapy Journeys programme is open to qualified therapists and counsellors of any modality.
The main requirement is that you are a member of a professional organisation and are insured to practise.
This is because as part of experiential work with sand you may need hold space and witness others’ sandtrays, and I need to make sure that you have the basic skills, self-awareness and aptitude to do so safely.
The free 3-unit Introduction to Sand Therapy Journeys course is open to anyone interested in therapeutic work with Sand.

Celebration of our Sand Journeys
No, it is a unique personal and professional development programme, not affiliated with any institution. There will be plenty of learning, you will gain insights and experience through exploring your own sandtrays and supporting the work of others, and via presentations on specialist topics. You will receive a Continuous Professional Development certificate at the end of the programme if you attend at least 50% of the live workshops (7 out of 14) and commit to watch the ones you have missed.
Most of the programme is delivered live, via fortnightly 2.5 hour workshops. All live sessions will be recorded for replay, apart from the experiential part of the workshops where personal work may be shared in the group – this will not be recorded for confidentiality reasons.
The live Zoom sessions will take place 12 noon to 2.30pm London time, nn Tuesdays, approximately fortnightly.
The live components of Sand Therapy Journeys programme will be delivered via Zoom. You will need to have the basic competencies of joining a Zoom room via link, muting and unmuting yourself, turning your camera on and off, using the chat function and breakout rooms. You will get the best out of the Zoom meetings if you have a reasonably good wifi connection and use a laptop or desktop computer rather than a phone or another small device.
There will also be a dedicated Facebook group for sharing, questions and discussion.
The cost of the 6 month programme for the 2025 intake will be £399. The option of paying in 3 instalments will be available.
If you are based in a developing country with lower incomes than Europe, US, Australia, and cannot afford the full fee, please get in touch to discuss how we can make it manageable for you.
